In progress Shift-work calendar

Rota

An Android shift-work calendar: set your rotation pattern once, and the calendar, home widget, and alarms follow it.

Rota is an Android calendar app for shift workers. Set a rotation pattern once — for example day-day-night-night-off-off — and it fills the entire calendar automatically, with the home widget and alarms following the same schedule. It's a native app built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

The question shift workers actually have is a simple one: what am I working this week. A regular calendar app answers it only if you type your shifts in every month by hand. Rota stores your work as a repeating pattern instead of individual events. Once the pattern is the rule, the calendar fills itself, the home widget shows your shift without opening the app, and alarms track the schedule. Enter once, check instantly — that's the design goal.

Rota is currently in closed testing on Google Play. The build is uploaded and testers are being recruited.
